I couldn't even control myself when I said that, it was simply automatic. Then when he killed the last guy, I was thinking, Now begins the descent into villainy. IMO, he shouldn't have killed the last guy, the first two were self-defense. But then again, back in those days (and perhaps even today) it might have been better so that there were no witnesses because who is the police going to trust? The single wounded survivor, or the crazy clown man with a history of mental illness? A lot of times I don't blame people for what they do or would do, because it's often really hard to tell what is the most moral option.
